Disclosure rate

The share of postings in a group that publish any salary information.

The context you need before reading any median. A median computed over 12% of a cohort is a much weaker statement than one over 70%.

Disclosure is not random. It skews towards jurisdictions that require it, larger employers, and roles where the employer feels competitive — so medians inherit that skew.
