Boards differ in where their listings come from: direct employer posting, syndicated feeds, or scraping other boards. The further from the employer, the later and more duplicated the data.
The economics are often the reverse of what people assume: small niche boards are frequently paid per click by aggregators supplying free listings, rather than paying for data.
